Let's
hoist our sails, drop the side board and glide off towards
a new adventure at 7 or 8 knots.
With only 70 cm drought, we can go almost anywhere and
cut across the many shallows and sand banks of the 'Waddenzee'.
If you do not have any experience then that is no problem
at al. The skipper and his mate will let you know what
to do and can handle any situation that might arrive.
With our big fast boat we sail on relatively sheltered
waters so sea sickness is hardly ever an issue.
Between the cows and the many acres of farm land lie the
Frisian canals and lakes. These waters are extremely sheltered
so when the weather is too stormy we can always turn land
inwards and continue our journey.

For
the more experienced sailor, the Maxima is the absolute
Mecca. Being one of the fastest charter boats in the branch
with her relatively large sails and shallow draught, we
leave most boats behind us. Together with you as their
guests, the Skipper and his mate will always attempt to
sail the Maxima to her full potential. At the end of the
day we can simply drop anchor or sail into one of the
many historical harbours surrounding the 'IJsselmeer'
The Waddenzee offers a one of a kind nature experience.
The tide difference is 2,5 meters which causes large parts
of the Waddenzee to turn into land with low tide. It is
a truly great experience to run aground with the Maxima,
wait for the water to disappear and then walk on the bottom
of the sea you were sailing over just a few hours earlier.
